Here's a little bit about me and my art.
With a background in graphic design and as an Associate Creative Director, much of my creative energy has been devoted to shaping experiences for others. In contrast, my practice with this art exists outside that world. It is work created purely for the joy of making, guided only by my own curiosity and vision.
The technique originates from Korean functional art, where layers of paper were pressed together through a rigorous process until they naturally bonded as one. What captivates me most is the accidental beauty that emerges.
I approach each piece with precision, ensuring every line and color carries intention, while also allowing the process itself to create textures, layers, and unexpected movements—spaces where personal interpretation can take hold.
Ultimately, my hope is that these works invite viewers to pause, to find something of themselves within the pieces, and to leave with a quiet sense of joy.
